Founded in 2004, MCI offers instruction for teachers in the Montessori Method. It is accredited by MACTE ( a division of the U.S. Dept. of Education) and is a Title IV school. The course offers a careful balance between theory and practice and blends in well with a working career.
Meeting the requests and needs of the community, it also provides a series of seminars and workshops throughout the year.

As qualifications for teachers are changing, MCI has its coursework approved as an equivalent for the State of CO's Division of Child Care requirements for Early Childhood Teacher and also those of Head Start's Child Development Associate. MCI and Red Rocks Community College work together to assure all students have the opportunity to meet the academic qualifications for Director Qualification in the State of CO.

MCI Denver does not discriminate with regard to sex, marital status, disability, religion, race, ethnicity or national origin in the administration of its education, admissions and personnel policies.
